Built in the late nineteenth century the Hall is in the centre of the village, nestling under St Bega's Church and accessed by a flight of stone steps. Until the 1960's it was the village school and the playground is still there - a useful area for sports and games.

There is one very large room; a good-sized kitchen with cooker and fridge (+ cutlery and crockery), and a bathroom with two WCs, washbasin, and baby change facility. The Hall is ideal for parties and sports events and has been used for sleepovers by Beavers and Brownies. The village shop is opposite and there is easy access to the low fells.

The electric heating is £1-in-the-slot metered.
